LG announces the V300 all-in-one, does 3D with polarized glasses
LG Electronics is now readying the arrival of its very first all-in-one PC to feature a 3D Film-type Patterned Retarder (FPR) display which enables 'vivid and crisp 3D images' and allows for 3D viewing through the use of lightweight polarized glasses.
Named V300, LG's all-in-one has a 23-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) LED-backlit IPS panel enhanced with multi-touch support, a Core i3/i5/i7 processor (of Sandy Bridge fame), up to 8GB of RAM, up to a 750GB hard drive, a DVD or Blu-ray drive, and an Intel HD 3000 (integrated) or Radeon HD 6650M (discrete) graphics solution,
This reasonably-slim and sleek 3D-ready system also packs Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1 or 3.0, a 5-in-1 card reader, a 720p webcam, an optional TV tuner, SRS Sound, dual USB 3.0 ports, a HDMI 1.4 output, and includes WiDi (Intel Wireless Display) support.
The V300 runs Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit and is set to debut in South Korean in June. Europe, the Middle East and Asia will get it soon afterwards.
