Lehigh Acres, Florida - A Lehigh Acres man is proof that you're never too old to receive your Eagle Scout badge.
At 88, Walter Hart finally received his badge this weekend in Fort Myers during a ceremony with his family.
He had earned a sash full of merit badges since he was seven — when he joined the Cub Scouts. He says he did everything to qualify for the highest honor while growing up in New Hampshire but never got around to it.
Hart says he found his merit badges in a drawer one day and decided to get the last badge.
