Albany police

Stolen vehicle - Albany police took a report about 7 a.m. Friday of a four-door vehicle stolen from the 200 block of 21st Avenue. The car has a Texas Longhorns sticker on the back and a Dallas Cowboys sticker on the back window. No listed value.

Burglary - A resident in the 500 block of First Avenue reported a break-in about 2:30 p.m. Friday. A laptop was reported stolen. Police are continuing the investigation.

Burglary - Officers are continuing to investigate a break-in reported about 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Whitaker Paint & Wallpaper. Some cash was reported stolen. Staff were still taking inventory to see if anything else might be missing.

Injury wreck - The driver of a minivan making a left turn onto Calapooia Street about 1 p.m. Saturday ended up crashing into a tree. According to Albany police, the passenger, Corey Darcy, 19, of Albany, was taken to Samaritan Albany General Hospital for treatment of an injury to his arm. The driver, Aaron Neville, 20, of Albany was cited for making a dangerous left turn.

Arrest - Police responding to a report of a subject with a weapon in a motel room Friday afternoon arrested a Philomath woman and took her 3-year-old child into protective custody. Melissa Anne Plunkett, 22, of Philomath was charged with unlawful possession of methamphetamine and endangering the welfare of a minor.

Lebanon Police

Arrest - Officers arrested a Lebanon woman Friday on several outstanding warrants. Brandi Mae West-Parsons, 37, had warrants for her arrest for unlawful possession of methamphetamine, failure to perform community service and violating probation. She also was charged with giving false information to police.

Linn County Sheriff

Theft - Linn deputies took a report about 8 a.m. Friday of a truck canopy stolen from a front yard on Fifth Street in Halsey. No listed value.

Burglary - Someone took a floor polisher and a 50-gallon garbage can filled with brass and copper fittings Friday from the parking lot of the former Waterloo Elementary School, now a storage facility for the Lebanon Community School District. Estimated total value: $1,500.

Domestic disturbance - Deputies received a report about 4:40 p.m. Friday of a father and son in a physical fight, using a golf club as a weapon, in the 900 block of Hammer Street, Harrisburg. Clarence Williams Jr., 52, was charged with fourth-degree misdemeanor assault and third-degree criminal mischief. The son, in his 20s, received minor injuries to one arm but did not require medical treatment.

I am trying to reschedule my H1B appointment as my contact in mumbai failed to deliver the DS-156 and DS-157 to the consulate in time (5 business days prior). It will introduce a point system which eventually will screw up the whole system. One reason we have limited applicants to EB based GC now is that we have to be sponsored by an employer.
