Pasco drive-by shooting is in retaliation in Kennewick shooting
PASCO, Wash. -- Four teenagers were arrested after a drive-by shooting in East Pasco Tuesday night. Pasco Police say it happened around 10:30 at the intersection of A Street and South 4th Avenue.
Neighbor Victoria Rodrgeuz says she's worried. "I'm scared because I have children here in the house," says Rodrigeuz, "I hear gun noise and then three seconds later, I see the cops."
A Pasco Police Officer was sitting down the street when a group of teenagers in a white Honda Accord started shouting at another group of teens at the house at the intersection. Then he heard multiple gunshots fired from the car. He quickly pulled them over and recovered a semi automatic handgun.
Police arrested 19 year old Juvenal Torres, 18 year old Ivan Madrid Valdez, and a 15 and 16 year old. They are charged with possession of stolen property, and suspicion of a drive by shooting.
Police say that 16 year old was the victim in Monday's early morning drive-by at the Kennewick SunMart on West 1st Avenue and Washington Street. They say both the shootings are gang related.
The teens in Tuesday's shooting are charged with suspicion of a drive by and possession of stolen property for the gun recovered.
Kennewick Police did not make any arrests in Monday's shooting and they want to hear from witnesses.

Benton, Franklin counties retail sales remained strong in 2010 ...
While retail sales sagged in the rest of the state during 2010, Benton and Franklin counties saw gains.
Overall, taxable retail sales declined by 0.1 percent to $100.8 million in 2010, according to the Washington State Department of Revenue.
Retail trade, a component of all taxable retail sales that includes retailers but excludes other industries, increased 3.1 percent over 2009 to $46.3 billion. Retail trade in Benton County was up 6.8 percent to $1.42 billion in 2010, when compared to 2009. And Franklin County saw a 6.1 percent rise in retail trade to $401 million in 2010.
The statewide results are a big improvement over 2009, when all taxable sales dropped 11.2 percent and retail trade was down 7.2 percent.
Mike Gowrylow, the Department of Revenue communications director, said a 12 percent drop in the state’s construction sector in 2010 weighed down total taxable retail sales. On the bright side, new and used auto sales throughout the state were up by 2.8 percent in 2010, accommodations rose by 3.5 percent, sales of apparel and accessories increased 4.2 percent and sales of building materials, garden equipment and supplies grew 1.2 percent.
But Benton and Franklin counties saw even greater gains.
In Benton County, sales of new and used cars increased by 10.7 percent to $195.4 million in 2010. In Franklin County, they were up 6.1 percent to $933 million.
Sales of apparel and accessories rose by 5.3 percent in Benton County to $113.7 million and by 15 percent in Franklin County, where consumers spent about $5.4 million on fashion.
Hotels and restaurants saw gains in both counties in 2010, as well. The restaurant and food service industry said a 9.6 percent gain to $55.9 million in Franklin County in 2010. In Benton County consumers spent about $243.7 eating out in 2010 — a 7.7 percent climb from 2009. Hotel accommodations saw a 5 percent increase to $42 million in Benton County and Franklin County had a 2.8 percent increase to $14.8 million.
But there was a decrease in spending on appliances, televisions and electrical gadgets in both counties. Benton County showed a 6.8 percent reduction to $43.8 million in 2010, while Franklin County had a 5.3 percent drop to $3.6 million spent on appliances, televisions and electronics.
Consumers in both counties appeared to be buying more online and through the mail. Benton County had an increase of 34.7 percent to $21.7 million spent on e-commerce and mail order in 2010. In Franklin County, consumers spent $4.5 million in e-commerce and mail order trade last year, a 17.6 percent increase over 2009.
