Nick Jonas: I 'Get My Dance On' In 'Hairspray' Musical
Having already starred in musicals like Disney's "Camp Rock" and a production of "Les Misérables," the Jonas brother should feel at ease when he takes the stage alongside stage stars like Harvey Fierstein and Marissa Jaret Winokur (who will both assume their original Broadway roles), as well as "Glee" actor John Stamos, Drew Carey and former Disney star Corbin Bleu.
MTV News caught up with the youngest JoBro on Wednesday and he shared with us how he's prepping for the show in August. (He also dished about his other summer plans, including teaming up with Quaker Chewy Superstar Search .)
"I'm really excited about doing 'Hairspray.' When they approached me about it, I was really blessed 'cause I knew the cast would be amazing. And when I finally saw it, I was really thrilled," Nick said.
"It's a great role and I got to get my dance on a little bit, so I'm going to figure that out," he continued. "I did some salsa dancing; just went out and did some salsa dancing, which was a really fun experience and, I think, kind of got me moving a little bit. So I'm feeling a bit more comfortable than I did before and I'm excited to get out there and do the whole Link Larkin thing."

"[The films are] very different. I watched the original many, many years ago and loved it as a musical theater fan," he said. "And doing musical theater, it's one of those things where it's a must-watch, and then when the remake came out, I was really interested in that," he said of the Efron-starring 2007 flick. "And I think they did a really good job. It's very different and definitely a modern twist, while still being in the period, but it's a great movie."

May I know if H1 transfer has any affect on parent�s arrival during the transfer? I sponsored their visa using company A's employment letters and they have a valid visa. Do I need to get a letter from my new employer to avoid issues at POE? At the time of parent�s arrival, I would be working for company A, but by the time they return, I will be switching to company B and moving to a different city. My H1 transfer is already in process. Once she got 2 month stamped at POE and I applied for her extn. But she left even before they even could process the application. As per my attroney's suggestion, we sent a letter to USCIS requesting to withdraw the petition stating that she had to leave to care of settling the sale of her house (you can give some reason, but the point is to withdraw the petition) USCIS will send you a notice confirming your withdrawal and make sure you keep that in record so that your MIL can show in case of questions that may arise in future. Thank you for your reply, made me relaxed, hopefully, things will go smooth and without any RFE on my side, already had so many problems with my wife's case and hopefully, we will get her GC very soon thru the court (She was out of status on H4 and I-485 denied and she was put in deportation proceedings and we got retroactive H4 NPT Approval and filed the I-485 in the court and hopefully will get her GC soon since my PD is current). I don't think infopass does any harm to you. it may give more info ahead of time. I had infopass on may 12 as one of my friends with later PD got the approval email. the IO told me the case is approved and approvals are mailed already. got the GC next day :) This is my experience. I don't know if anyone had a bad experience at infopass or something that caused additional problem for their case. I think your's is a genuine case as your PD is current and it's almost month end and many with PD after you are already approved. Remember this: nobody is going to give you a warm and fuzzy feeling about the dream of getting a green card in short duration...you just have to learn to be pleased by what has been accomplished this month and hope to expect similar good things happening along the way in the future. just keep on doing action items from IV, continue contributing and expect that they will decide to use the last few years' ROW visa to clear the backlog...Cheers!
